AI Literacy for Senior Management

Course Overview

This self-paced e-learning program equips senior management with expert-level (Level 5) literacy to meet non-delegable responsibilities under the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689). It focuses on organizational leadership and regulatory compliance, the need for proactive governance to prevent serious incidents arising from resource inadequacies or oversight gaps. Participants gain functional fluency to authorize controls, challenge risks, and ensure the presumption of conformity. The content is aimed at Top Management (High-Risk AI), positioning executives as guardians of regulatory compliance at the leadership layer.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion, participants will be able to:

Articulate EU AI Act implications, including executive liabilities and the consequences of literacy gaps that may lead to loss of presumption of conformity or serious incidents.
Evaluate AI ecosystem risks and mitigation strategies to prevent common root causes such as lack of top-level commitment or resource inadequacies in AI governance.
Oversee proportionate QMS, human oversight, and documentation for regulatory adherence.
Develop accountability artifacts and communication protocols to foster a culture of compliance, matching or exceeding the literacy depth of senior executives while incorporating full regulatory fluency.
